LIFEGUARDS IRELAND
are established to provide a full range of beach,
pool and open water awards and qualifications aimed at the Leisure Industry,
Local Authorities, and Private Groups, Surf Clubs, Outdoor Activity Centres or

We administer and act as a facilitator to those Outdoor Centres, Local
Authorities and Surf Clubs wishing to register as training units for RLSS
Beach Lifeguards.
LIFEGUARDS IRELAND
work in close cooperation with
IQL IRELAND who act to
promote the development of RLSS National Lifeguard
Qualifications, and to encourage the widespread adoption of water safety
education, resuscitation skills and out-of-hospital defibrillation.
Visit the
IQL IRELAND

First Aid courses are provided by our
associate company - First Aid @ Work Training Service.
All our Trainers and Examiners are certified and
registered with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) as

Safety, Health and Welfare at
Work Act 2005 |
|
|
| |
|
|
 |
The effect of the newly updated Safety, Health and
Welfare at Work Act 2005 (Dail Eireann) is to require a beach or a pool operator
(manager, owner/s, directors) to ensure
that lifeguards are sufficient in number, adequately trained, and effectively
organised on the beaches and in the pools under their control and for which they
are responsible.
